Women In Adventure Film Competition

Posted by Jeremy Windsor on Jul 14, 2019

The 2020 "Women In Adventure Film Competition" will be launched at Hathersage's Outside Cafe on Thursday 1st August at 7pm. The competition was started back in 2015 in order to try and get more women in front of, and behind, the camera. It succeeded! In 2019 no fewer than 33 films were entered. All of the entries can be found on Youtube. Last year's winner "Aziza" and highly recommended runner up "Well Preserved" can be found below.

The event promises to be a good night featuring a series of fascinating talks, workshops and films. Why not come along?

Tickets cost £7 (£6 for BMC Members) and can be bought from Outside. All profits will go to the Women's Trad Festival.
